Pain

Some people claim that eight days old babies do not feel circumcision pain during their Brith. However, recent studies clearly indicate that newborns do suffer severe pain even at that age. Though they cannot express this pain in words, and might not be able to remember it in the future, they do suffer.

Orthodox Mohalim are not allowed to give anesthesia since they do not have the proper medical qualifications. Moreover, leading Orthodox Rabbis object pain relief altogether. They claim that the more pain your baby suffers, the higher the price he will get at heaven. Hence most boys in Israel are not entitled even to the anesthesia given to lab animals prior to an experiment!

Would you give your dearest, helpless young son in the hands of such mohalim?

Only experienced urologists perform circumcision at MILA TOVA, minimizing pain by local anesthesia administration.
